The Social Room

This work ponders on our interactions with each other and ourselves in present times. It is a theater piece that encourages the spectators to communicate and relate with the person living in the “social room” only through the internet. 

Olivia inhabited The social room for two weeks. It was possible to see her through a viewscope, resting, watching movies, eating, and texting. In front of the house, there was a sign with the text "Contact Olivia" and various social media platforms. Spectators could interact with her in real time and follow her media coverage.
